Terms and Conditions

By creating an account on 1st Class Assured, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. They are written in plain English on purpose — so you actually understand what you are agreeing to. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not create an account.

1st Class Assured is designed for students enrolled at Ghanaian universities, recent graduates acting as contributors, parents using the Parent Add-On, and professional consultants registered through the Project Hub. You must be at least 16 years old. You must provide accurate information about your university and academic level when you sign up. Misrepresenting your academic status is a violation of these Terms.

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must not share your account, create multiple accounts, or use someone else's account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at [email protected]

On 1st Class Assured you can access all features on your plan, post questions and answers, upload past papers and study materials, create project briefs, build Living Courses, earn and spend Scholar Stones, use AI tools for legitimate academic help, and communicate with other students. The platform is here to help you study better and earn from your contributions — use it for that.

You may not use 1st Class Assured to cheat, harass other students, spread misinformation, manipulate Scholar Stones, or do anything illegal. The most serious violations are academic integrity breaches — submitting AI-generated work as your own, requesting complete assignment solutions, or facilitating contract cheating. These result in immediate suspension.

You own the content you create — your questions, answers, past papers, Living Courses. By uploading it, you give us permission to show it to other students on the platform. That is all. We cannot sell your content or use it outside the platform. If you delete your account, content you shared with the community (like past paper uploads and forum answers) may stay on the platform with your name removed, so other students still benefit.

Scholar Stones are platform credits you earn by contributing to 1st Class Assured — answering questions, uploading past papers, helping other students. You can cash them out via Mobile Money. Scholar Stones are not currency, not cryptocurrency, and not a financial instrument. They are platform credits. The conversion rate is 100 Stones = GHS 1.00. Minimum cash-out is 500 Stones (GHS 5.00). Stones earned through fraud are forfeited immediately.

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically. You will receive a reminder 7 days before each renewal. You can cancel at any time from your account settings — you keep Premium access until the end of the period you have paid for. If a payment fails, we retry twice. After three failures your account moves to the free plan. Your data is never deleted for a failed payment.

Token packs are one-time purchases of AI tool credits. They do not auto-renew and they never expire. If you subscribe to Premium, your token balance is paused — not lost. It comes back if you ever return to the free plan. Token packs are not refundable once purchased, unless our AI tools are unavailable for more than 7 days due to a platform failure.

New subscribers who are not satisfied within the first 7 days of their first paid subscription may request a full refund — no questions asked. Email [email protected] within 7 days of your first charge. After 7 days, subscription fees are non-refundable. Token packs are non-refundable once purchased. We do consider exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis — we are a Ghanaian platform and we prefer to resolve things fairly.

The Knowledge Marketplace is a peer platform. Students answer other students' questions. We facilitate the connection — we do not provide the answers ourselves and we cannot guarantee every answer is correct. Fast-Track answers are prioritised but not guaranteed to be right. The voting and rating system is how quality is maintained over time. Attempts to manipulate Fast-Track through fake questions or vote farming result in immediate suspension.

The Project Hub connects students with peer collaborators and professional consultants for legitimate academic assistance — methodology guidance, research frameworks, feedback on your own work. 1st Class Assured holds payments in escrow and releases them when milestones are confirmed complete. If there is a dispute, our moderation team reviews and makes a binding decision within 7 working days. Consultants are independent — they are not employees of 1st Class Assured.

Living Courses are created by verified senior students and alumni — not by 1st Class Assured. We review courses before they are published but we cannot guarantee their accuracy. Enrolment fees are non-refundable after you have accessed course content. If you enrol and have not accessed anything within 7 days, you may request a refund. If a course creator discontinues a course you are enrolled in, you will receive a proportional refund.

To create a Living Course you must be a verified Level 300+ student, graduate, or professional. Courses must be original, accurate, and peer-reviewed before publishing. Revenue split: self-paced courses pay 70% to you, 30% to the platform. Cohort courses pay 65% to you, 35% to the platform. Earnings are paid as Scholar Stones, cashable via Mobile Money on the standard schedule.

This is the policy we enforce most actively. Academic dishonesty — submitting AI-generated work as your own, contract cheating, exam fraud — is not permitted on this platform. Ever. This platform actively supports legitimate academic help: drafting with AI, getting peer feedback, practising with past papers, getting methodology guidance. These are all fine. What is not fine is misrepresenting someone else's work — or AI-generated work — as your own to your university. Violations: first offence is a warning. Second is a 30-day suspension. Third is permanent suspension with no refund.

The 1st Class Assured platform — its design, code, brand, name, logo, and original content — belongs to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our written permission. You own the content you create. We own the platform. That is the distinction.

We aim for 99.5% uptime. We will communicate scheduled maintenance in advance. We are not liable for losses caused by unplanned downtime — but we take reliability seriously and will keep you informed.

We are not liable for your academic outcomes, for advice given by peer contributors or consultants, or for indirect losses of any kind. Our maximum liability to you for anything arising from your use of the Platform is the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. For most violations, we give 7 days notice. For serious integrity or legal violations, suspension may be immediate. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. When you delete your account, most data is deleted within 30 days. Payment records are kept for 7 years as required by Ghanaian financial law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If you have a dispute with us, please raise it through our support process first at [email protected] — we prefer to resolve things directly. If we cannot resolve it through support, the dispute goes to mediation under the Ghana Arbitration Centre before any court proceedings.

We may update these Terms as the platform grows. For significant changes, we will email you and show a banner in the platform for 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the changes, cancel your account before the effective date. Continued use after the change date means you accept the new Terms.
